 As we know someone does not really engage with the users around UX and the new one is how shall we say Meh (IMO) however for those show wish to have the choice an option has been added via the extension option to enable you to adjust based on the following selections. (Call out to Boomian for the quick code add) Minimal (Current) Minimal - Inverted Legacy Modern    Invertet    Modern  Legacy

 I find that the Component IDs used within Boomi are needed more often then not, now it is easy in a way by getting it from the URL via componentIdOnFocus however I felt Naaa! - lets add this to the Action button (I wont lie I tried to add it to the process layer first however found it continued to create loops) in which irrespective of the component type it will copy the currently displayed component ID to your clipboard.

 Lets be honest, the Canvas can get messy following lines due to how they stack, sort and appear which in turn can make you either get lost or miss something. When I look at a shape I want to see where it goes easily to that point all you need to do is hover over the shape and the before & after connected lines will become highlight in blue, all other connections are shaded out to provide a simple way to see what does what.   This is an automated process and user is only required to hover over shape, users can turn this feature off within the Extension Options Screen.

 For those who love to share, document etc. its not exacly easy to capture the flow and with no automated document creation like other IDE's. To combat this a Capture Process Flow button has been added to the Open Process Sub Menu. To Capture the entire flow irrespective of size in one single image simply click the Capture Process Flow button and follow the guided procedure.

 I will be honest, I find the way to add connectors not ideal with out of the Box boomi, so to make it more stream line and keep your self in the build tab - you can now double click on the canvas to bring up a search box. Within the search box start typing the connector/component and simply select it from the drop down and press enter to add it to canvas! This is an automated process and only requires a double click on the Canvas to initiate, no options currently exist for this

 Sometimes when you have large flows or multiple branches etc. it can easily be missed that every connection is connected to something. To remedy this, any connection will by default glow with a red tinge for ease of use.     This is an automated process and no user interaction is required, users can turn this feature off within the Extension Options Screen.

Nothing worse then needing to wast time grabbing a Stop Shape to end a Connection, Brand etc. Simply hover over the connection and a options will auto appear to enable you to add the stop shape to it.     This is an automated process to hide however requires user interaction to add Stop Shape, no options currently exist for this

 I found a lot of white space being taken up due to the size of the Fonts use in the Sub Header of the Process Reporting tab - similar to others using more space then required causing actual data I wanted to see being smaller. To Resolve this the font sizing used in the sub-menu has been reduced to provide more screen (About 2 rows) for process reporting information. I Personally find that the Boomi header bar takes up way to much landscape in general however this is more so the case when developing and or viewing information that it restricts so much of the view pane.  I decided to automatically hide it. Since it does have functions like services, help, settings etc. it is not completely gone, an addition option is added to the Sub Menu called Show Header which Shows the Header Bar again.   Before:   After:     Once Shown you can of course hide it by then clicking the now visible Hide Header Button.
